This December I was happy to be invited back to teach a five day masterclass in La Condesa, Mexico City by a local school. Clases Pittura La Condesa. This was my third time visiting to give a workshop, and it is always a pleasure. While in town I also managed to do a lot of sightseeing and vacationing. I returned home with a greater sense of please and longing for my studio, and a strong conviction of what I wanted to do with my art going forward.
Next October, I will be returning to the city once more, this time in their new second location in San Angel (near to Frida Kahlo’s house) to give a 5 day Painting Birds and Flowers Workshop. We will have live birds, flowers, and, most especially there will a s solo show up of my paintings! New works (which are currently being produced) are going to be in the theme of Flora, Fauna and Mythology.
