March 1 Online Drawing Demonstration
& March 8 & 9 Online Portrait Drawing Workshop
Have you ever wanted to draw more but struggled to find the time or motivation? You’re not alone. Many artists—beginners and professionals alike—feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to enjoy the creative process. That’s exactly why I’m hosting this interactive drawing demonstration and workshop—to help you break free from those struggles and rediscover the joy of drawing.
I slept in today after a long yesterday during which I finished a painting commission (yay!) and got the approval too from the client. Then I spent the wee hours of the morning celebrating with some charcoal drawing. Oh, and I also set up a fun new still life for me to paint when I am feeling up to it. It is based off of my recent adventures in Mexico City, studying the Aztec ruins and their symbolism, and also a trip to Florida where I got close to some alligators.
But now I am back to work, and I want to let you know about my new upcoming drawing workshop. It has been a while since I just made drawings for fun, and I am so getting into it again. So much so that I wanted to let you in on a new workshop and separate demonstration that I have coming up.
Why Drawing Should Be Fun (And How This Workshop Helps):
• No Pressure, Just Play – This is a space to experiment, make mistakes, and learn without fear.
• Creative Freedom – I’ll show you techniques that invite exploration and self-expression.
• Stress Relief Through Art – Drawing is meditative, and I’ll guide you through ways to make it a relaxing practice.
• Skill Growth Without the Struggle – You’ll improve naturally by focusing on process over perfection.
• A Fresh Perspective – Get inspired with new ways to see and interpret the world around you.
Why It’s Hard to Stay Motivated (And How We’ll Overcome It):
• No Time? – This workshop carves out that creative moment for you.
• Fear of “Bad” Art? – I’ll show you how to embrace imperfection as part of the journey.
• Feeling Stuck? – Learn exercises to push past creative blocks and rediscover inspiration.
• Burned Out? – Reignite your passion for drawing in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
• Struggling Alone? – Connect with fellow artists, share ideas, and grow together.
If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to dive back into drawing—or just want to shake up your routine—this is it. Join me for an engaging, hands-on session that will help you fall in love with drawing all over again.
